At Vik Guesthouse, we offer cosy and well-equipped cabins for those who prefer a more independent stay in the heart of Hardanger. Our cabins are peacefully located, surrounded by majestic mountains, fresh fjord air, and the gentle sounds of nature—perfect for couples, families, or friends seeking a relaxing getaway.
Each cabin includes a private kitchen, bathroom, and living area, giving you the freedom to prepare your own meals and enjoy a flexible stay. The cabins vary in size and layout, accommodating both small and larger groups. Several cabins feature a balcony or outdoor seating with views of the mountains and the river—an ideal spot for morning coffee or a calm evening in the fresh mountain air.
Whether you’re visiting to explore Hardangervidda, see Vøringsfossen, or discover the fjord, our cabins provide an excellent base. You’ll have easy access to hiking trails, fishing spots, cycling routes, and fjord activities, while staying comfortably close to nature.

Frokost er ikke inkludert i hytteopphold. Når Eidfjord Hotel tilbyr frokost, kan du kjøpe den separat der, omtrent fem minutters gange fra Vik.
Resepsjonen stenger 27. september 2026 og åpner igjen i mai 2027. I lavsesongen er kun hyttene åpne, med selvinnsjekking. Frokost er ikke tilgjengelig.

More space to spend time together, right beside the river. A two-storey cabin for families or friends, with a living room, a private kitchen and one bathroom.
Sleeping arrangements:
Ground floor: one bedroom with two single beds.
Upstairs, reached by internal stairs: 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed (2 sleeping places).

The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator and coffee maker. Enjoy the river from your private outdoor space. A TV is included. Bed linen, towels, soap, heating, free Wi-Fi and free parking are included.
A self-catering stay.
Breakfast is not included in cabin stays. When Eidfjord Hotel offers breakfast service, you can purchase it separately there, approximately a five-minute walk from Vik.
Reception closes on 27 September 2026 and reopens in May 2027. During this low season, only the cabins are open, with self check-in. No breakfast service is available.

Check-in from 15:00. Check-out by 11:00. Follow the arrival instructions sent before your stay, especially when reception is closed.
