We pride ourselves on serving traditional Norwegian home-made, local delicacies from sustainable, local produce “kort-reise mat” (short-travelled produce). Enjoy our “weekly delight” allowing our Chef to tantalise your taste buds with a variety of dishes from around the world.
Our current offering is based on organic, locally grown produce. The best in fruit, vegetables, meat and fish is sourced from local farmers and butchers. The meat including game; reindeer, moose and organic beef are sourced from a butcher in Hallingdal. The fish and seafood sourced from local fishermen in the Eidfjord, Hardanger region. The apples come from the local village orchard next door to our hotel. Home pressed apple juice “eple-most” and locally produced cider is a signature item that our guests love.
For our guests staying with us, we welcome you to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast including fresh fruit, warm home-baked bread, nutritious cereals, local cold & cured meats, farm-fresh eggs and a choice of coffee and teas. You are welcome to enjoy breakfast in our private breakfast room or in the comfort of your own room on a personal tray served by us….
